Milam And Greene Wildlife Single Barrel - Barn Owl

What’s the climate story? Like the previous Milam and Greene Wildlife releases, Barn Owl was exposed to massive temperature swings over the 20 months spent aging in our rickhouse. Multiple days long freezing events as well as extended periods of triple digit heat and record drought.  

Color: Mahogany 

Nose: Sweet almond, maple syrup, cedar, barbeque smoke, bruleed turbinado sugar, cherry chapstick

Palate: Viscous mouthfeel with a big cherry note, dates, chocolate toffee bar, fruitstripe gum, rye toast  

Finish: More cherries on the finish, dry biscuit, caramel
