The Milam & Greene Wildlife Collection Single Barrel - Scorpion

The Milam & Greene Wildlife Collection is a limited-release series of cask strength, single barrels that pays homage to the local Texas wildlife that thrive in extreme weather such as high heat, wide temperature swings, drought and low humidity levels, all of which were seen at the distillery last year. The first release of the collection is The Scorpion Single Barrel, which will be available online starting at 3pm (CST) on Wednesday, February 22, in addition to a limited number of bottles for sale at the distillery.  The Scorpion Single Barrel is bottled at 123.3 proof, making this bourbon one of the strongest and richest barrels ever seen at the distillery.

TASTING NOTES:

COLOR – Dark, brooding amber

NOSE:  Kitchen spice, maple, caramel and vanilla.  Tread lightly!

PALATE:  Robust and hot with hints of sweetness

FINISH:  Long and lingering like a Texas Hill Country heatwave
